I &lt;a href="http://www.mymeditationgarden.com/meditation-101/recommended-meditation-for-beginners/" rel="nofollow"&gt;meditate&lt;/a&gt; on a daily basis to keep my heart open and loving. I practice breathing meditation and have not yet tried lovingkindness meditation. Still, however, I have found that since I started meditating I get along better with my husband and my family, am much more relaxed in the face of stress, less prone to depressing thoughts, and am much more centered in terms of what I want in my life. 

Meditating actually led me to realize that I was unhappy practicing in my previous profession as a lawyer. I ended up closing my law firm and now dedicating myself full time to online publishing about meditation to share all of the benefits I have gained from it with other parents and professionals in the United States.
