What affect do our Thoughts, have on Our Health, Our Relationship and Our Environment?

Posted in: life by design

As I sit here writing this I am feeling very saddened for my home state of Victoria in Australia, wildfires are still out of control in many place of the country, so many lives have been lost, properties destroyed and countless acres of land and wildlife lost.

This has reminded me, that my spiritual teacher once told me that natural diasters were the result of negative human emotions and thoughts.  Many people would find this hard to believe, but if you look at the work by Dr. Masaro Emoto on the effect our thoughts have on water you will see that there is some truth in it.

Dr. Masaro Emoto has shown that negative thoughts change the structure of water crystals making them misshaped and murky, whereas positive thoughts gives the water great structure and beautiful shapes.  To see some of his photos go to http://www.masaru-emoto.net/english/e_ome_home.html

Dr Masaro also speaks about a very polluted Lake Biywa in Japan going from extremely toxic to almost totally unpolluted due to the gathering of people a few times to meditate, pray and send love and appreciation to the water.

Our human bodies are comprised of about 78% water – so your thoughts are having a major affect on your body and your health.

It has been claimed that over 80% of visits to the doctor are stress related and most stress these days comes from our thoughts and emotions.

There are other studies that show that our DNA is also affected by our thoughts and emotions.  Positive thoughts have a lengthening and unwinding effect, making proper replication easier.  However negative thoughts shorten and compact our DNA which increases our changes of malfunctions and improper replication that can lead to disease and deformity and early aging.

Do we also have an effect on others?  Of course, most people are drawn to happy positive people, being around them uplifts us, makes us feel good, and helps us to see the positive side of life.  The opposite is true of those negative whinny people, they drain our energy, remind us just how bad the world can be and we leave their company with the weight of the world on our shoulders.

Everyone we come in contact with is affected to a less or greater degree by our energy and mood, as we are by theirs.

On the other side of the coin is the good news.  It has been shown that positive emotions such as love and gratitude can build our immune systems, relax our bodies and make us look and feel years younger and of course make us much more fun to be around.

With so much illness, hatred, fear and natural disasters occurring in the our world at present we need an influx of positive uplifting thoughts and people.
